Hi, I'm Michael Hatzikostas. Most people call me Mick. I'm 15, and I'm from Connecticut.

I grew up around my mom, Erin Hatzikostas, who built a career as a professional speaker. I had a front-row seat as she worked new technology into what she does, and I saw just how much of it there was.

Why I built Speaker Hub

Some parts of my mom's work had a generic app she could bend to fit. Other parts had no useful tool at all. She still had to figure out where a talk lost the room, research each audience, find the right stages, and keep every piece of her business sounding like her.

That's why I built Speaker Hub. It turns those jobs into tools designed for speakers, from moment by moment talk analysis to audience research and stage finding. They all start with the same picture of who you are, so the technology fits your work instead of making you fit the technology.

I've been coding for a while (I learned HTML and Python at a coding school called The Coder School), and Speaker Hub is the biggest thing I've built so far.

Where it’s going

My hope is that Speaker Hub reaches speakers everywhere and makes their message a little easier to get out into the world. If it saves them time and helps even one more person hear what they have to say, that's a win.

I'm 15 and I run every part of it, so every bit of support genuinely helps me keep improving it and adding new tools.
